Delegates are provided with the knowledge and skills required to maintain proper boundaries, become more organised, and focus on priorities.

Course Outcomes:

  • Assess and analyse their present time management skills, having completed a “Personal Self- Assessment”
  • Identify the roadblocks to effective time management
  • List the behaviours associated with type A and type B personality types
  • Assess their own behaviour and identify their personality type
  • Identify and implement the three steps associated with effective time management techniques
  • Complete a time management worksheet using the techniques of Prioritising, Scheduling, Boxing and Time Mapping
  • Discriminate between activities that are ‘urgent’ and those that are ‘important’
  • Assess personal time wasters and develop contingencies to overcome them
  • Identify the principles associated with effective delegation and assess their own delegation skills
  • Implement the ten organisational skill practices designed to effectively manage time
  • Apply effective assertiveness techniques in managing time
  • Understand and implement the concept of the “Balance Effectiveness Wheel”
  • Develop a personal action plan based on all the knowledge and skills required, in their quest to manage their time effectively
